Municipal Ethnographic Museum
The Municipal Ethnographic Museum, founded with the purpose to recover, preserve and disseminate our cultural heritage, traditions and crafts, noting especially the pottery tradition and glazed ceramic which is benchmark Biar.
Its three floors are divided into sections which are presented in a thematic way to prevent numerous funds from private donations. There are also pieces of municipal property. There is an elevator for disabled persons to access the different floors without any architectural barrier.
The building where the museum is located is the s. XIX, and their works and objects are exposed since 1999. It consists of over 1000 pieces between exposed and background. Each section has a QR where a summary of the most significant objects explanation. We also have tablets and interpretive panels for a better look.
